Karibu customer!

That's something you hear regularly when you're looking for something nice at local markets in Kenya: Welcome customer! And here: welcome to our store!

We purchase traditional Maasai products that you see here in our store. These are all kinds of products such as jewelry, bags, soapstone dishes (kind of lime), candle stands, slippers and paintings. Since they are handmade, they are unique and we often only have one item of each product.

We also sell some Dutch products, made by a volunteer who created ideas for this together with the children in Kenya. These products are designed based on these ideas.

With the sale of these products we support Kiota.. So while you buy something for yourself, you support the kids! Even if there is not something for you, you can make a donation in a fun way to purchase a chicken, firewood, water, vegetables, meat, rice or flour.
